Experts Tips On Getting Six-pack Abs
Want abs like these? There are many opinions and advice on what it takes to get a six pack and how to get those wash board abs that most people want. Here are what some experts say may help:
Jim Horn
Exercise physiologist at Fanatics Athletic Club in Yorba Linda
Jim says that "you must do some focused, isolating ab exercises that concentrate on the abdominals, the underlying transverse abdominals and the obliques. "
He continues that "to maximize your potential, exercise the region with variety, utilizing diverse angles and planes of motion. Good abdominal exercises allow you to do only 15 to 30 reps, not hundreds. Use the stability ball, hang from the chin-up bar for knee to chest movements, recruit core movements such as planks and side planks."
Lee Wall
Personal training manager at Crunch in Los Angeles
Lee adds his opinion in saying that "cardiovascular exercise is key, but a lot of times people will get on a bike or go to a Spin class or go on the elliptical machines, and their feet are on set pedals, so their body is on a sagittal plane: They're just going forward and back, not from side to side or rotating at all. When you run or swim, everything is centered around the core -- your core has to stay a lot tighter."
He finishes by saying that "even going on the treadmill on an incline and holding on to the bar immediately takes the core out. So with cardio, it's important to have it centered around the core."
So take the heed of these experts, take the initiative and find out more about what you need to do to accomplish you goals. Your persistence will pay off in the end.

Shah Rukh Khan and His 6 Pack Dillema
In a recent news article I came across, I found out that arguably the most well known and famous of all Indian actors, Shah Rukh Khan has decided to trade in his chiseled body for a more leaner look. How he even attained that body at his age in the first place, only he knows. He’s chaging his Greek-god like build and avoiding the gym in an attempt to lose that macho look following strict instructions given by good friend and directors Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar. He’s set to play a leading role in Aditya’s ‘Rab Ne Bana De Jodi’ and Karan’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ has been asked to do away with his sexy looks as both the flicks require him to look lean.
Unfortunately for the ladies, they’ll just have to get used to looking at him like a normal super-idol instead of a super-built super-idol.
Read the rest of the story here: http://www.zeenews.com/articles.asp?aid=471007&sid=ent&ssid=1
The moral of this story is that anybody can get six pack abs, regardless of age. It just takes some determination. Take the time and go find out how you can get those abdominals for yourself.

Six Pack Abs Made Easy
Have you ever considered doing every exercise on an unstable surface, as to train your core at all times? My belief is that this is the fastest way to gain six pack abs with the least amount of effort. In fact, I've been able to help tons of people incorporate unstable surface training to their workout programs in order to guarantee faster results, less strain to their lower backs, and reduced waistlines.
Training for functional abdominal strength while training for aesthetic purposes just makes sense. Functionally, your abs work to stabilize your lower spine, flex your trunk, rotate your trunk, and digest food. It is always important to consider the actions of the muscles you are training for two reasons:
If you consider all actions of muscles you are training, you will stand a much better chance of stimulating areas of your muscle you would not otherwise recruit. You will feel stronger in daily activities, thereby enhancing your motivation to return to the gym.
In order to truly reduce belly fat to the extent necessary to develop six pack abs, diet is an essential component. Personally, I'd rather see you stay away from extreme dieting and unrealistic food choices, but rather find mechanical foods that you enjoy eating. Mechanical foods are nutritional sources that require energy to be broken down and digested. Through increased energy use in the digestion process, you will increase metabolic demand and improve fat loss.
Remember, in order to guarantee your successful attainment of six pack abs, you will need to be disciplined and dedicated to your fitness program. Also, be sure to begin slowly and progress over time. If it truly is your goal to have six pack abs, it would be wise to make this a long-term goal that will be sustainable for years, rather than days.
